as I read this I find self chanting-
must not install extensions on Tor broswer…
I do have Privacy Badger on the normal Firefox, but not on Tor. Do you use Tor all the time?
I’ve preferred privacy possum on FF, but recently messed up my primary firefox profile attempting to load it in memory and copy back on quit- what could go wrongffs?
been lazy to extract FF profile from backups and fix my chit so have been rely on Tor a lot more for normal daily web use and rely on icecat for crucial authenticated account(s) use (bank, utilities, etc). Now considering librewolf as replacement for FF and maybe icecat.
Would Tor Browser using NoScript (and its security slider as well) by default be a decent substitute for things like Privacy Badger? I haven’t seen a side by side comparison, so I don’t know what all the subtle differences are.
I started using Privacy Possum after this, and I’ve gotta say - it’s great. Perhaps I’ll do a comparison on my blog or somewhere like that soon. I know the comparisons get outdated quickly, but it’s an interesting analysis to do.
