Question: Any recommendations for a privacy based Instagram client
Anything similar to Invidious or NewPipe for Instagram?
i not think so you need to use it inside Tor

This application is similar to Invidious and Nitter, it is a front-end for Instagram. Please note that this is at very early stage and nearly nothing works yet.

none for now, i dont think is exist because it still instagram, their network is proprietary that doesnt give much privacy to us… one thing dont use tor on instagram please , it would very very useless…
The whole idea of Instagram is sharing your personal life to the rest of the world. So if you want some privacy, quitting Instagram is the way to go. (Also Facebook, Linkedin etc. but that’s another story.)
Of course their app could do extra snooping on your device. If that’s your concern, using a web browser is probably the most private option. But their servers probably log all your browsing activity anyway.
Instagram is an anti-privacy service, in my opinion.
