Long story short, my parents want to make sure I don’t get kidnapped or something so they want to track my location. I am using Android and my parents don’t mind spending a few bucks a month for a safe service. I don’t really care if it is open source or not (though it is preferable), here is what I am looking for:
1: Easy to use and consistent for my parents.
2: Data is not given to marketers, governments (especially not dictatorships like Russia or China)
3: Security is high, or at least isn’t easily exploitable.

- Open-source
- No trackers (According to εxodus, didn´t tried a local analysis myself)
- Possibility to set-up your own server
- The devellopement seems oretty active, and you are free to ask them questions on Github

There was some discussion about this in Google now lets you auto-delete your app activity, location and web history.
