Facial recognition will soon be everywhere. Are we prepared? | Dylan Curran

Nope :frowning:
I am not excited for this

All those new rectangular white cameras in stores from companies like Hikvision (Chinese) and other, mostly American ones, run facial recognition among other algorithms and send all that data back to HQ.
All major airports in most developed countries have facial recognition, and crossing the border in developed countries in Europe has you verifying your passport with your face instead of with an agent.
All of East and South-East Asia is pestered with state-run facial recognition on the streets as with many chain stores.
